Ebay for Charity

If you sell on Ebay, we have a perfect way for you to support Neuroblastoma UK, to help fund research into new, more effective and kinder treatments for neuroblastoma.

Ebay has partnered up with the PayPal Giving Fund to form ‘Ebay for Charity,’ allowing you to donate a percentage of your sales directly to your chosen charity.

100% of every donation processed by the PayPal Giving Fund will reach Neuroblastoma UK. Even better, since thePayPal Giving Fund is itself a not-for-profit, 100% of your donation amount is tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.

How does it work?

  1. Use Charity Search to find your favourite charity (Neuroblastoma UK of course!), then look for “Donate a Portion to Charity” when you list your item. Add your charity and pick your donation percentage before finalising your listing.

  2. Sell and ship to your customers as usual. No additional steps or paperwork are required!

  3. Within a few weeks, and after the buyer has paid, Ebay’s partners at the PayPal Giving Fund will automatically send your donation to Neuroblastoma UK. You’ll also be sent a donation receipt and be credited an equal percentage of your fees.

And there’s more benefits for you too:

  1. Buyers are often more willing to purchase items that benefit a charity.

  2. A unique charity ribbon icon will be added to the search view of your item, making it stand out.

  3. Your item will appear in searches where buyers are specifically looking for items that benefit charity.

  4. If the item sells, your listing and final value fees will be discounted by the same percentage that you donated e.g. if you donate 25% to charity then you will get a 25% discount on your listing and final value fees.
