Solent Stevedores

Solent Stevedores, an award-winning port terminal operator, has chosen to support Neuroblastoma UK as their charity partner throughout 2022. 200 employees at four locations nationwide nominated and selected Neuroblastoma UK after two London based employees who were directly impacted by the disease put the charity forward.

About the Partnership

Fiona Robson, Managing Director of Solent Stevedores, said: “This is the first year our teams will be dedicating fundraising activities to one charity. For it to be a charity close to the heart of two of our employees makes it even more poignant. Sadly, Joe lost his young cousin to the disease at just 18 months old, while Holly knows a little girl who has been battling the disease for two years.

Staff will spend the year focusing its fundraising activities on behalf of Neuroblastoma UK and have committed to match fund up to £10,000 of the final total raised.

Fiona said,We’re looking forward to getting involved in lots of fundraising activities for such a worthy charity throughout the year.
