The Virgin Money London Marathon is THE event everyone has been waiting for. We’re incredibly excited to be able to offer two runners the opportunity to take part this autumn, to help in our fight against neuroblastoma. You’ll be left with unforgettable memories of a buzzing atmosphere, captivating route, and a whole lot of smiles.

Coronavirus fears? Don’t worry. The marathon has been purposefully pushed back till October, by which time all adults in the UK should have been offered the vaccine. Moreover, the race organisers are going above and beyond to ensure that you stay safe.

About the route

The marathon will take you through the very heart of the capital. Starting at Blackheath in Greenwich, you’ll pass:

  • Buckingham Palace

  • The Cutty Sark

  • Tower Bridge

  • Canary Wharf

  • London Eye

  • Big Ben and the Houses of Parliament

You can download the course map here.

Check out Virgin Money’s training plans to see how your training could pan out, to help you build up to the big day.

By taking part, you’ll also be helping to fund vital research into new, more effective and kinder treatments for children with neuroblastoma. We’ll help you set up a Just Giving page and support you throughout your fundraising journey.
