Deb Tweddle is Professor of Paediatric Oncology at Newcastle University and an Honorary Consultant in Paediatric & Adolescent Oncology at the Great North Children’s Hospital, Newcastle.
Tony has a background in Industry at UK and European Board level. After an initial career in the hospitality industry, Tony moved into the Contracts market with a series of senior Business Development positions across the UK and Ireland. His final role was as European Vice President for Growth for a large US corporation. Upon retirement, he joined Neuroblastoma UK as Fundraising Trustee prior to being elected their Chair in February 2018.
The majority of Alastair's career has been spent working at the forefront of change in acute NHS healthcar , most recently in leading the development and commissioning of specialised services in London and, prior to that, change management in clinical Networks. Alastair came to Neuroblastoma UK in 2017 to front our media presence.
Guy became a Neuroblastoma UK Trustee in 2009, taking on responsibility for our research interests. In 2010 he initiated NBUK’s first biennial Neuroblastoma Research Symposium which has become a well established and respected meeting for UK and European neuroblastoma researchers. Guy was Acting Chair of NBUK during 2017/18 and has now returned to his role as Research Trustee.
Malcolm worked as a qualified corporate treasurer for a number of UK & US corporations including Del Monte and retired from full-time work some years ago. His interests include cooking, playing and teaching bridge and, being born in the Cretaceous period, geology. He has two sons and five grandchildren. Malcolm joined Neuroblastoma UK in 2018.
